mumenurse - thanks for reminding me, I got something prescribed last time (Periot or something?) which made me make less acid bile, so there was less bile and acid to throw up ... will ask my Dr whether that would be an idea again ...
charlotte - the smell of ginger is pretty off for me at the moment, but I might try some grated in warm water ... it sometimes helps a little (smell notwithstanding...)
lily dust - they're 8mg, but the Dr said to break them in half, and stick to 2 pieces a day. I'll keep taking them if the bands stop working.
but yes, strange as it might sound, the sea bands still seem to be assisting ... might be the best $18 investment ever! They don't fix it completely, but taking zantac first thing and keeping the bands on is working so far today ... no idea how or why they would work, but frankly, I don't care ... I'm just glad that they seem to help
but I will have to wear a cardigan at work, so they can't be seen ... don't want anyone guessing early!
peanutter have you considered the blackmores morning sickness tablets? bvitamin and ginger... I took them with all my pregs (haven't needed them with this one just yet) and it was the only thing that helped. Had to take them every day of course but they also gave me a bit of energy from the b vitamins. They're vile to throw up but if you take them regularly enough they're great. Good luck! At least the seabands seem to be helping. I'll keep them in mind for if I need something this time round.
